Calthorpe gardens is a local community center located off kings cross road in london. Amongst the many activities that nearby residents took part in, it was observed that the astroturf football pitch proved most successful in bringing together the rich tapestry of different cultures, age groups, and ethnicities.

in the wake of nationwide austerity measures of 2010, the community center found itself entirely devoid of the funding it was formerly dependant on. Relief took form in the planned erection of a series of office blocks with rentable deskspace as a means to cover for the deficits.
